Modern Voluson P8 Ultrasound - Only in My Medyk

Voluson P8® is one of the most modern achievements  in the field of medicine.

This multifunctional ultrasound gives a perfect picture, both in 2D and in 3D / 4D.

My Medyk Clinic is the only  Polish clinic in London, with so high class equimpent.

We use it to scan:

- abdomen                  - spleen

- liver                            - kidneys

- pancreatitis              - thyroid

It is also used in gynecology and obstetrics. It features a huge accuracy of carried out scans, very short examination time and high contrast resolution, allowing doctors to spot all the details. Its additional advantage is the lack of waiting for test results.

4D Ultrasound is currently on the most modern methods, that allow us to precisely observe a fetus and detect abnormalities at an early stage of its development. Thanks to 4D ultrasound, future parents have a chance to check, whether their developing baby does not have any congenital anomalies and undertake early effective treatment, even during fetal life. With this method, the doctor is able to recognize birth defects, major body systems and organs of your baby. Defects, which ultrasound 4D is able to detect include cleft palate, cleft lip, spina bifida, hand and foot deformity, congenital urinary tract, gastrointestinal tract, Down's syndrome, etc. While carrying out an 4D ultrasound, we can see every scratch on a child's face, know its sex and the exact anatomy of the fetus surface. When done between 18 and 22 weeks of gestation, the examination can show the fetus movements, behavior or gesture. It’s also worth it to perform at 32 weeks of gestation, because we will be able to see your child’s countenance and facial expressions. A smile or grimace is a wonderful keepsake for the baby and its parents. When performing a 4D ultrasound, parents can see their baby in a quality comparable to watching a movie.

Since June this year You can use it in our clinic at Hanger Lane!!

Cerec - One visit, many opportunities

Modern, fast, economic, safe and efficient method of teeth reconstruction, that gives a natural looking results.

What is CEREC?

CEREC is short for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. It means that a dentist can economically restore damaged teeth in a single appointment using a high-quality ceramic material that matches the natural colour of other teeth.

How does the instrument work?

CEREC uses CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufacturing) technology, incorporating a camera, computer and milling machine in one instrument. Special camera is used to take an accurate picture of the damaged tooth. This optical impression is transferred and displayed on a colour computer screen, where the dentist uses CAD technology to design the ceramic restoration. Then CAM automatically print and cut the restoration which is later adjusted by dentist. Finally, the dentist bonds the new restoration to the surface of the old tooth. The whole process takes about one hour.

Benefits of CEREC:

  • Single-visit convenience
  • Hi-tech accuracy
  • Natural, tooth-coloured restoration
  • Biocompatible, anti-abrasive and plaque resistant ceramic materials
  • Metal free, no silver coloured fillings
  • Preserves more healthy tooth material
  • Extremely precise for long-lasting, natural results
